Profile
The seldom-used Heath system reverses the order of the Meadow water storage and drainage layers by introducing a Roofmeadow® plastic retention/drainage sheet at the bottom of the profile. This sheet captures and retains water in small cup-like depressions in its upper surface. Water moves freely through the drainage pathways on the underside. If irrigating, a surface drip or spray system is required for this configuration.
